As caregivers and educators, our mission is to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment, which fosters a child’s natural desire to explore, discover, create, and become a lifelong learner. Our underlying philosophy is that children learn through play and our program is built around the concept that children are born ready to learn. We consistently strive to create learning opportunities that provide physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual growth with meaningful Christian experiences in a safe, stimulating, and encouraging environment.

Mother's Day Out was established in 1967, and is an outreach program of Community United Methodist Church.
At Mother’s Day Out, we believe in the value and uniqueness of each child we serve. Our preschool experience is designed to promote each child’s own individual social, emotional, spiritual, physical, and cognitive development. MDO is overseen by The Advisory Board, which is made up of church members, the MDO Director, MDO staff and MDO parents.
In order to promote strong bonds and consistency, children stay in the same classroom throughout the duration of the school year.

Mother’s Day Out is a non-profit program licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families. A copy of the licensing rules is available for review in the office and on their website.
